A Division of Vacations To Go
Speak to a Train Tour Specialist
Founded in 1976, African Travel, Inc. takes thousands of people on safaris each year. A full gamut of pre-arranged and customizable vacations helps African Travel fulfill any vacation endeavor and maintain its position as one of the world's leading safari operators.
Safaris typically visit the game reserves of Botswana, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia. Guests often fly between wildlife parks, which maximizes time spent on the ground observing the animals. Deluxe rail journeys aboard Rovos Rail and the Blue Train explore glorious countryside and are an ideal extension to your African journey.
African Travel offers two types of safaris: individual departures and small-group departures. On individual departures, you can begin your trip on any day, travel independently and enjoy private sightseeing. Small-group departures are designed for four to 12 guests and depart on scheduled dates.
Train tours are classified according to the quality of the train experience, the location and service level of hotels and restaurants and the number of included meals and activities. African Travel trips are categorized as deluxe on the tour industry rating scale (budget, first class and deluxe).
